In
order to be allowed admission to examinations, students must attend at least
75% of all lectures and tutorials.
(Exceptions may be made in cases of ill health.)
Graduation Requirements
In
order to receive the Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) Degree, the candidate must:
1.
Attend classes regularly and meet the minimum number of attendance
requirements prescribed by the University Senate.
2.
Complete all courses required by the B.A. (Journalism) programme.
3.
Earn a minimum grade of “C” in all courses in the B.A.
(Journalism) programme.
4.
Demonstrate competence in the required practical and internship.
5.
Conduct research and write a research paper of between 10,000 and
12,000 words, which are accepted by the supervising instructor and examining
committee.
6.
Fulfill all other conditions prescribed by the University Senate.
